Management Developers Conference (MDC) Openwsman Presentations Available

During last week's Management Developers Conference (MDC) openwsman was the main topic of two sessions. The first was an introduction and discussion of future plans and roadmap of the project. The second presentation was all about the WS-Eveneting implementation in openwsman and a demonstration of the WS-Eventing features in the project. The WS-Eventing session was co-presented by Rodolfo Kohn from Intel.

Openwsman: Overview and Future Direction

This session will go into details about openwsman and its growing popularity among hardware and software vendors and open-source developers and how an open-source implementation can provide solutions for every aspect of system management: from embedded systems to desktops and servers. Also the future direction of the project will be outlined such new features, language bindings, small foot print and tight integration with CIM object managers like openwbem and SFCB.

Eventing in WS-Management: Implementation details and a real world demo

This session covers WS-Eventing implementation details and architecture in openwsman and will demonstrate real world events using CIM indications.
